Windows provides a simple trick for sending pictures that works directly with your email program. It is free, with nothing else to purchase. You simply select the photos you want to send and let the email program do the rest.
Windows Vista:
Open the folder where your pictures are stored. I open that folder with the Windows Explore program. (Right mouse Start | select Explore)
Drill to the appropriate folder.
Set the View, to Large Icons. You can see a small thumbnail of each photo.
While holding down the Ctrl key click each photo you want to send.
Selected photos will have a check mark or get highlighted to confirm they are selected.
Release the Ctrl key.
Now, right click any one of the selected photos.
Click "Send to" then "mail recipient".
Select the smallest size from the drop down list option. (600x480)
Your email program will automatically start where you can simply supply the appropriate email address.
Click Send
